The European Commission has launched a review study of the horizontal regulation on ecodesign requirements for electric power consumption on standby/off and networked standby modes. The study covers the review of the Commission Regulation (EC) 1275/2008, including its four amendments.

The study is carried out by Viegand Maagøe A/S for the European Commission, DG Energy. Contract manager is Van Holsteijn en Kemna BV. The study started in July 2015 and is expected to be finished in the autumn of 2017.
